Board, Management Meet For Strategic Planning
The board of trustees has a couple major responsibilities. One of the most important of these is deciding the future direction of the cooperative. This is called strategic planning - it directs the co-op's future. Each year, around the end of March, the board spends two days discussing the co-op's future direction and giving management direction on how to proceed. It is then management's responsibility to design plans and goals to achieve the board's strategic vision.
