Before electric service is energized or re-energized:
- An electrical inspection is required by Paulding Putnam
- Documented verification of the inspection must be provided
Inspection requirements vary by location:
- In areas with a local inspection authority (AHJ):
- The local authority must be contacted
- All permitting and inspection requirements must be followed
- In areas without a local inspection authority:
- Verification must be provided that an electrician has inspected:
- The meter base
- Member-owned equipment
- Verification must be provided that an electrician has inspected:
Manufactured homes:
- Inspections must be performed by a certified electrical inspector from:
- Ohio Department of Commerce – Division of Industrial Compliance/Building Code Compliance (DIC), or
- Indiana Department of Homeland Security – Fire and Building Safety Section (IDHS)
After inspection:
- The electrician or certified inspector must complete the bottom portion of the required document
