Paulding Putnam hosted its annual Member Appreciation Day, with over 2,000 members gathering at the Fort Wayne Zoo on July 25th for a day of fun and community connection. 
Members were treated to free admission and unlimited rides on zoo favorites such as the Sky Safari, Z.O.&O. Railroad, Crocodile Creek Adventure Ride, and Endangered Species Carousel.
The event began with free zoo entrance, starting at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Once inside the zoo, members were able to spend the rest of the day enjoying the unlimited rides. 
At the Parkview Physicians Group Pavilions in the zoo, members and their families were able to speak with Paulding Putnam staff, try a bike that generates energy, see the real dangers of electricity up close, and enter to win a door prize.

In addition to the fun, the event provided information on Paulding Putnam’s internet service. Members were able to learn more about packages, pricing, and when service would be available in their area. Service is currently available in parts of Latty, Haviland, Scott, Grover Hill, Roselm, Ottoville, Fort Jennings, Van Wert, and Kalida. 
Those interested in fiber internet service (even those who are not electric members) are encouraged to complete the interest form online here. This helps the co-op guide construction plans and notify customers when service is available.
Pauding Putnam encourages all members who attended to complete an event survey by Monday, August 3. Feedback will help shape future years' Member Appreciation Day. The survey can be found online here.
