But whether you're a homeowner planting a tree or a contractor eager to break ground, you must first call 811 (the national-call-before-you-dig hotline) to have your property's underground utilities marked. It's the law...but it's also for your own safety to avoid serious injury.
*Please note that Paulding Putnam cannot perform underground locates. We are in the same boat and must wait for locates before we, too, are able to dig. With staffing shortages, please be patient with the 811 crews and give them a few days notice before you plan to start your project.
