Paulding Putnam (PP), along with Project Indiana, is helping global communities advance by adopting villages, bringing them electric power, and supporting them as they form electric cooperatives. It is a better way of life - and a brighter future.
PP Linemen Terry Minic will make his second trip to a village and join other linemen from across Indiana in early 2025 to bring electricity to a developing area in Guatemala. Terry traveled to Peña Roja in the Spring of 2023 with Project Indiana.
How can I make a difference?
The easiest way you can get involved is by making a financial contribution. Every dollar makes a difference. 100% percent of all donations go directly to the mission of supporting our adopted communities. Terry will purchase items locally in Guatemala to support families in need with food, clothing, and medical procedures. For example:
- $25 buys 1 student's school supplies for the year.
- $50 buys 1 student's school uniform, shoes, and lunches for the year.
- $75 pays 1 family's electric bill inside of a home.
To support the project financially, checks can be made to Paulding Putnam with "Project Indiana" in the memo. Checks can be mailed to PP, 401 McDonlad Pike, Paulding, OH 45879. Please call our office at (800) 686-2357 with any questions.
