Donations from Putnam County, Ohio, all the way to New Haven, Indiana, flooded into the patriotic-themed Paulding Putnam office on Friday, Nov. 11. Employees collected donations from noon until 6 pm, filling several SUVs to capacity. The drive was held on Veterans Day to support Clothes for Joes, a local Ft. Wayne-based nonprofit that provides clothing and hygiene items to former and current service men and women in need throughout Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.
Physical and monetary donations can still be dropped off at Paulding Putnam’s office (401 McDonald Pike, Paulding, OH), at the Clothes for Joes office (2202 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN), or online on the Clothes for Joes website. More information about Clothes for Joes is available on their Facebook page.
Photos of the drive are available on Paulding Putnam's Facebook page.
