Farming is one of the most dangerous jobs in the U.S... especially when it's rushed. Each year, Paulding Putnam sees farmers rushing to get the job done and in turn, tangling with power lines and causing injury or outages.

Solar is a very big topic these days. And unfortunately, it is not black and white. Meaning, that solar is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. One of the most asked questions is, “will solar save me money on my electric bill?” In short, yes it will. However, you must ask yourself, at what cost, and what is the projected savings in years? Solar payback can be anywhere from less than 10 years to more than 20 years. I have been seeing about a 15–18 year payback the last couple of years.

According to various news sources, like the Wall Street Journal and NBC, propane prices are climbing due to strong overseas demand and tighter production.

Many co-ops have implemented educational outreach programs and instituted EV and home charger rebate programs. Some provide home installation services and incentives. Here at PPEC, we are researching options like these and possibly event off-peak EV charging rates.
Agriculture is the backbone of our country, and our livelihood greatly depends on the crops provided by American farmers. In addition to being one of the most labor-intensive professions, farming is also considered one of the most dangerous jobs in the U.S.
The hard work and exhaustive labor are tough but rushing the job to save time can be extremely dangerous––even deadly––when farming near electrical equipment.
