What should you do during a peak alert? Conserve or delay energy use between around 2-7 pm during the peak if possible, when electricity costs the most. *Peak time may vary, depending on weather.

🌡️ Delay hot water use, showering, washing clothes, etc., until later in the day or do them before the afternoon hits.

🌡️ Turn off unnecessary lights.

🌡️Cook with the microwave rather than the oven, which uses more energy (or grill out... you can even choose to go out to eat instead)

🌡️ Tap the A/C a notch up a few degrees.
